Dr. Sandra Pozzer is a professor of civil engineering at Laval University. Her work lies at the intersection of materials science, structural engineering, and data science. Recognized for her contributions in the fields of non-destructive testing, damage detection, and modeling, she develops innovative approaches based on physical and engineering principles, integrating artificial intelligence, BIM, and digital twins for predictive maintenance and the development of smart and resilient infrastructure.
With a master's degree in civil engineering and a PhD in electrical engineering, she focuses her research on advanced non-destructive monitoring of structures and the development of reliable and intelligent tools for infrastructure assessment and sustainability.
